Build Blog Day 33 (2/23/20)
Assembly:
Serializer Assembly
We assembled the new serializer with a retractable skatepark and feeder. The feeder no longer contacts balls in the serializer until the skatepark is deployed to feed balls into the turret. It is now much easier to mount onto the robot, but the mounting blocks need to be revised to account for warping and welds in the drivebase. We very briefly tested serializing and feeding, and the balls were successfully fed into the shooter. We look forward to testing further.
Hall Sensor Mounting
We 3-D printed the new mounts for the hall effect sensors on the turret. We also drilled the new magnet hole for the turret. They will both be mounted once the sensor boards are wired.
