After volunteering for the Bellarmine Vex Summer Camp for six weeks, I learned the true importance of teaching. These students were all so passionate and excited for robotics and it was a joy to teach them what they loved. This reminded me a lot of what I looked like when I participated in the Bellarmine Vex Summer Camp last year. I was passionate and really wanted to win. Despite placing second to last place after qualification matches, we overcame adversity and won the tournament. The thrill of winning was nearly matched with the thrill of teaching students robotics.
