Yesterday, September the 1st, was the first day I refereed for a fencing tournament. I had taken the refereeing seminar one week prior and taken the referee test a few days before the competition. My experience refereeing was super exciting. I refereed the Y-14 men's foil event and all the competitors all enjoyed fencing and loved fencing.
