Blog #13: Summer of New #4: OBON Festival 2019

On 7/13/2019, our family "commenced" the fourth summer of new activity. Our family discovered this festival accidentally. When my parents were about to pick me up from my Robotics build, they came across an area with many cars. My parents were curious and discovered the OBON Festival. After picking me up, we decided to to join the festival to try something new. After watching the dances and performances, we discovered some of my friends from school. Other than the intentions of the Buddhist Sutra, the OBON festival was also a place to enjoy Japanese culture and enjoy Japanese food. We truly enjoyed the Japanese culture and would gladly come again next year!
